Brazilian President to Visit South Africa PDF Print E-mail

The President of Brazil Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva is due to arrive in South Africa on a 4 day State visit tomorrow the 8th of July. This follows President Jacob Zuma’s visit to Brazil last October. President Lula, will be accompanied by a number of Brazilian government Ministers.

A statement released by the South African Presidency says the visit will strengthen bilateral relations between the 2 countries. The two Presidents are expected to discuss and review issues related to bilateral co-operation, following the report of the 4th Meeting of the Joint Commission held in May as well as the elevation of SA-Brazil relations to a strategic level.
